The Google Pixelbook is a badass premium Chromebook and it's only $749 today
We'll admit it: Work sucks sometimes. There are days when it's the definition of tedious, days when you physically can't keep your eyes open, and days when you would rather be doing anything else than be at work. We get it. Mondays are hard. (And so are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays...)
It'd be nice to have a device that makes you want to get shit done, right? Meet the Google Pixelbook: A premium 4-in-1 Chromebook with Google Assistant voice commands. Mashable's tech team claims that it's the first laptop in a long time that's this fun to use — and it's on sale for $749 today.

This really could be the laptop that swings Apple users to, well, anything other than Apple. The Google Pixelbook is Google's third attempt at building a Chromebook than can actually compete with competition — and they finally did it. It's thin, features a 12.3-inch screen with 2,400 x 1,600 high res display (comparable to the MacBook pro), weighs next to nothing, and is straight up good looking. It's also the first Chromebook with Google Assistant voice commands built in.

Those specs are enough on their own, but there's more: It's also a tablet. Similar to the how an iPad works when you use a keyboard case on it, the newest Pixelbook has a hinge that allows the screen to flip a full 360-degrees into tablet mode. (Which also affords tent and standalone viewing, technically making it a 4-in-1 device.)
Chrome OS battery life isn't awesome (4-5 hours if you're using it constantly), but how much more can you really expect when you can't help but use it 24/7? (Plus, we all know how fast Apple batteries go south, so.)
