  • Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla are attending the lavish Ambani pre-wedding party in India.

  • The Meta CEO appears to be in full vacation mode after being pictured with a floral garland.

  • The event for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is due to feature a performance by Rihanna.

Mark Zuckerberg has touched down in India for one of the most lavish pre-wedding celebrations.

He appears to be in full vacation mode after flying in with his wife Priscilla for the Ambani family's extravagant three-day pre-wedding affair.

The Meta CEO wore a floral garland, sunglasses, a gray t-shirt, and red Nikes as he arrived in Gujarat on Thursday.

The world's ninth-richest person, Mukesh Ambani, is holding the pre-wedding blowout celebration this weekend for his son Anant. He's marrying Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare, in July.

In 2018, the Ambanis gained global attention by hosting one of the most extravagant wedding celebrations ever for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.

That bash featured a private Beyoncé concert and a guest list boasting celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Hillary Clinton, and Arianna Huffington.

Fast forward to this weekend, and the Ambani family is again making headlines with a grand celebration for Anant, the youngest son of Mukesh and his wife Nita.

The 1,200-strong guest list includes Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, cricketers, Bollywood stars, and many other celebs.

Zuckerberg later
posted a photo on Instagram of him and his wife dressed up for the occasion. By then, he'd swapped his casual attire for a black suit with dragonfly embellishments.

The billionaire investor Larry Fink, the CEO of BP Murray Auchincloss, and Ivanka Trump were also pictured arriving for the first day of celebrations on Friday.

Reports from The Times of India also mention that Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet, and Jay Y. Lee, the executive chair of Samsung Electronics, will be attending.

Reuters reported that Rihanna would perform at the event on Friday. India Today shared a video of a rehearsal performance that appears to be the pop star singing her hit "Diamonds."

It's quite a feat considering that apart from her 2023 Super Bowl performance, Rihanna hasn't played live since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2016 — but a fee rumored to be close to eight figures might have helped convince her.
