Gamers Take to Their Consoles to Show How Marshawn Lynch Could Have Won the Super Bowl

Hindsight is 20/15. Madden 2015, that is.

After Sunday night’s superclose Super Bowl finish, gamers took to their PlayStations and Xboxes to show Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll exactly how his team could have come away with a victory in the final seconds of the big game.

The unanimous answer: Just give the ball to Marshawn Lynch.

Carroll is being hit with criticism for ordering up a short pass play instead of calling Lynch’s number with the game on the line. The result was an interception on the 1-yard line, and a fourth NFL championship for New England’s coach-and-quarterback duo of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

Instead of settling for the Seattle head coach’s X’s and O’s explanation of why he stands by his play call, Madden experts — none of whom, presumably, boast any real professional football experience — have posted clips to social media “proving” just how easy it would have been to win the game by running Lynch.

Scroll below and see for yourself how easily Super Bowl 49 could have gone to the Seahawks (if real life were exactly like video games).
