Galaxy S7 leak reveals some design tweaks for new flagship phone

Leaks of Samsung’s next flagship phone haven’t exactly been hard to come by in recent weeks, but it’s still surprising to see just how much the company is letting slip through the cracks when it comes to the Galaxy S7. The latest leaked image might give us our best look yet at the phone’s display.

On Friday, NowhereElse.fr shared the following image, which began making the rounds on social networks just before the new year:

Although previous leaks have indicated that the Galaxy S7 would be nearly identical to the Galaxy S6, but in the above image, the sensors and the camera have all been relegated to the right side of the display. The home button appears to be slightly elongated as well, but that might just be the cut of this specific part.

Specification leaks have indicated that the Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage (with expandable storage options) and a 20-megapixel camera. Yet another leak has dated both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge for February.

Although some of these leaks are likely to be debunked in the coming weeks, we’re beginning to get a better picture of what Samsung’s next phone is going to look like. Either way, there’s a good chance we’re in for a slightly modified version of the Galaxy S6 in 2016.
