Facebook Might Just Write Your Status For You, You Lazy Bum
Maybe you should include a #USWNT tag in that “SO BORED” Facebook status update you’re about to post.
According to some Facebookers, the king of social networks is beginning to provide “Suggested Topics” hashtags at the bottom of the box where you write out a Status update. From what we’ve seen in the provided screenshots, the teed-up topics given are all holidays so far.
In similar fashion, Facebook has apparently also been testing a feature that will auto-populate the Status update field with a timely content suggestion informed by what a subscriber normally writes about. This is according to behavior spotted earlier this month by a SocialTimes tipster.
The good news here is that, for those who often find themselves as “Current status: Undecided,” it looks like help may finally be on the way. The bad news is, we are one step closer to a fully automated Facebook, no humans required!
