Download Your Smart TV’s Remote App and Stop Clicking Through Big-Screen Keyboards
If I were forced to pick one thing I don’t like about smart TV software at large, it’d be the giant on-screen keyboards you’re asked to click through with your remote anytime you want to login or search for a movie or TV show.
The good news: All the popular smart TV systems today offer apps that let you use your smartphone – with its touchscreen keyboard – as a much more capable remote.
Apple TV, Roku, and Android TV each feature App Store and/or Google Play apps that are easy as pie to set up, and beyond their nicer-to-use keyboards, they can even dictate your voice commands to their associated smart TV boxes, too.
My tip: Download these remote apps now so you can skip all the clicking and get on with your binging.
