CNET Reporter Accidentally Orders Xbox One During Live Demo of Apple Watch

The small screen of the Apple Watch is great for brief notifications, glances at the time and weather, and abbreviated health data.

It is perhaps not so great for looking at the Amazon page of a $300 gaming console.

CNET reviewer Scott Stein learned that the hard way after accidentally purchasing an Xbox One with Amazon’s One-Click button while giving a live on-camera demo of the Apple Watch. Stein notes that he was later able to cancel the order –– from his laptop, which has a much larger screen.

You can watch the errant Xbox One order above. (Things get really good around the 1:15 mark.)

A teachable moment for Apple Watch owners: Maybe stick to text messaging and heartbeat-sending, unless you love navigating invoice screens on Amazon.com.
