Released Tuesday, iOS 17.4 brings in 118 new emoji, including shaking heads, a broken chain, gender-neutral families, and new directionality for some existing emoji.
These are the best new emoji you can use to win your group chat:
A head shaking side to side
A head shaking up and down
A slice of lime
A phoenix
A (different) mushroom
(Not to be confused with the existing mushroom emoji that is red with white spots.)

There are already emoji of people walking, running, kneeling, using mobility aids, using manual wheelchairs, and using motorized wheelchairs. But those all face leftward. iOS 17.4 introduces rightward-facing options for the same emoji.
