Cañon City to host electronics recycling event on May 25

(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — The Fremont County Department of Human Services will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, May 25.

The event will take place at the Fremont County Department of Human Services parking lot located at 172 Justice Center Road in Cañon City.

Community members can bring items from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The cost is $30 per item for televisions and CRT computer monitors. All other items are free.

Light bulbs, old thermostats with mercury, or large appliances will not be accepted.

Over the weekend, X added clauses to its rules, formally allowing users to post adult and graphic content on the platform — with a few caveats. Users can now post consensually-produced NSFW content as long as it is prominently labeled as such.

Spotify to increase premium pricing in the US to $11.99 per month
Spotify has announced it's hiking subscriptions for customers in the U.S., the second such price increase in the space of a year. The music-streaming giant reports that premium pricing will increase in July from $10.99 to $11.99, representing a rise of nearly 10%. The Duo and Family plans will go up to $16.99 and $19.99, which are $2 and $3 increases respectively, while the student plan will remain at $5.99 per month.
