Black Friday 2015: Here Are the Best Tech Deals of the Bunch

Another November has come, and with it, even more hype about Black Friday sales. The sales start earlier, the noise gets louder, but the deals themselves are often nothing to leave home for. That’s one reason why last year’s Black Friday retail event saw a substantial drop in sales numbers from the year previous, while online sales on Cyber Monday rose from 9 to 26 percent, depending on the source.

Even if, like me, you find most of these alleged deals a snooze, there are still some great bargains to be had with new tech. I’ve combed through all the circulars and ads and culled the best of the best —like the ability to save $350 on a 55-inch HDTV or more than $130 on a pair of Beats Headphones. Some are even worth the loss of family time and potential risk of bodily injury by venturing into the stores next week.

(Here’s a quick shopping tip: Be sure to wear your sneakers to Thanksgiving dinner, because some “Black Friday” sales actually begin on Thursday. As soon as your turkey and mash are digested, you’ll want to run out the door and get in line for the hot Black Friday sales items listed below.)
