Apple’s Big Show: How to Watch the iPhone 6s Event (on Wed., Sept. 9)

Yes, it’s that time of year again. Nearly every September for the past 10 years, Apple has put on its own version of Lollapalooza for its adoring fans, and 2015 is no exception.

This year Apple is expected to unveil new versions of the iPhone 6, an overhauled Apple TV set-top box, a larger iPad, and much more. There’s certain to be at least one or two surprises. Because Apple.

As always, we will be covering the event live.

You can tune into our live blog here starting at 9 a.m. PT on Wednesday.

Our indefatigable live-blogging team, David Pogue and Alyssa Bereznak, will be on hand at the Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco to enlighten and entertain you as events unfold. Shortly after Tim Cook exits the stage, our video crew will relay David and Alyssa’s initial impressions of the new gadgets, while Daniel Bean and Dan Howley will serve up postgame analysis from our New York studios.

You’ll also be able to watch Apple’s live stream of the event here. This year, Apple has expanded the number and types of devices that can display its live stream. You’ll be able to catch the event live via:

  • the Safari browser on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS7 or later.

  • Safari 6.05 or later on a Mac running the latest version of OS X.

  • a second- or third-generation Apple TV running version 6.2 or later.

  • the new Microsoft Edge browser on a PC running Windows 10. Yes, really.
