Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of the hugely popular social networking site Reddit, was our guest at Monday morning's Tech Mix here at the South by Southwest festival. When Yahoo Tech's Rafe Needleman asked him about his role models, he gave a surprising answer, claiming that he looked outside of technology for his idols.

Yes, Ohanian -- who started Reddit and travel site Hipmunk, and is an investor in several major tech startups -- admitted that he had no technical role models. Rather, his role models include rapper and mogul Jay-Z and the billionaire investor Warren Buffett. Probably not the answer you'd expect from the entrepreneur.
