Alexa does not like when you ask her about the NSA

Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa is pretty good at answering most questions. But if you ask her if the NSA is monitoring you right now? She turns herself off.

The NSA is notorious for tapping into various modes of communication, but whether the agency is actually listening to your Alexa queries is pretty questionable. Nonetheless, Alexa isn't taking any chances.

It's probably just a joke programmed in by Amazon, but it may also be a sly warning to be careful about what you say around your Echo or Dot.
