Still, the Amazon Eero was no slouch either, hence why we dubbed it our best value pick. It wasn't the fastest unit we tested—download speeds were at about 330 Mbps within a few feet of the device and about 56 Mbps at 75 feet away—but it should be great for most average users.
In terms of overall dollars saved, the better of the two deals is the Amazon Eero, as it drops to $174 from its original $249, saving you $75 and shaking out to $58 per system, (you'll get three with your purchase). The Google Nest, meanwhile, typically $169, falls to $149.99 for about $19 off.
5. Less than $15: This sound machine with more than 20,000 glowing reviews
For anyone who's struggling to get a good night's rest, the best sound machines can feel like the gift that keeps on giving, as they help to drown out unwanted clamor and give sleepy folks the sense of being lulled into a gentle slumber.
