  • The 2025 Genesis GV70 is currently on sale, which means this updated machine will slot in as a 2026 model year when it goes on sale.

  • The 2026 GV70 features an updated interior with a 27-inch OLED media screen, mood lamps, and a new horn cover.

  • The ’26 Genesis GV70 also shakes up its styling with a revised front fascia, new grille, and revised rear styling.

Genesis is refreshing its GV70 for the ’26 model year in the US and is ushering in another contender in the screen wars. The refreshed GV70 will add a 27-inch display to its dashboard that will handle its media and driver information needs. Likewise, the GV70 is getting updated interior and exterior styling, a new Sport trim, and possibly more to come.

The details about the refreshed GV70’s powertrain are still hidden behind a filing cabinet in a Genesis executive’s office. Currently, you can snag a Genesis GV70 with either a 2.5-liter turbocharged I4 that makes 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque, or a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque.

You can also opt for the battery-electric version of the GV70. It’s hard to say if there will be any major shakeups under the hood, but considering this is a more reserved update to the GV70, there probably won’t be any major news in the powertrain department.

The real star of the ’26 GV70’s show is inside the cabin. The new dashboard with the 27-inch OLED touchscreen gives would-be Genesis customers something people apparently want: a massive screen.

Transitioning to a combined media and driver display follows the trend seen from Kia and Hyundai vehicles, so it does make sense for the high-tech Genesis models to start expanding screen space. Joining the OLED display is a set of mood lights in the interior, a touch-based air conditioning controller, and a new horn cover on the steering wheel.

There are also some changes heading to the outside of the ’26 GV70. In the front, you’ll see a new grille, larger air intakes, and a new bumper cover. Alongside a revised front fascia, the rear of the GV70 sees turn signals that are now baked into the tail light assemblies. A new Sport model also shakes things up with larger air intakes and 21-inch wheels.

Pricing and details about the 2026 GV70 are expected closer to its US launch, but there will probably be a slight bump from its current $46,500 base price. The updated GV70 is scheduled to go on sale in Korea in about a month, but US customers will have to wait a little longer to see this updated crossover cruising around your local roads.
