When you aren’t texting or obsessively checking your email, there’s a good chance you’re using your mobile device to play a game. And in 2015, you were very likely playing something awesome.

Lured by smaller costs and bigger audiences, developers of all shapes and sizes gravitated to iOS and Android this year. Games once again dominated both the App Store and Google Play, and while many of these were well worth your time, only a handful were good enough to land a spot on our 10 Best Mobile Games of 2015 list.
