Zhang Ziyi to return to work next year

13 Dec - Chinese star Zhang Ziyi revealed that she is set to make her return to showbiz next year, after taking a break to give birth to her first daughter, [nicknamed] Xing Xing.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who attended the 1st International Film Festival and Awards Macao (IFFAM) recently, stated that she is excited about making her comeback as a married woman and a mother.

"It feels great to work while being a mother. I believe a lot of women are doing the same thing. This is the life that I wanted and I really enjoy my current status," she said.

Zhang also added that she has been quite inactive this year so that she could save her energy to begin filming her new movie early next year.

However, the actress declined to explain details of her new project.
