Would You Get Married at Coachella? This Bride Did (And It Was Beautiful)

Model Nicole Trunfio and musician Gary Clark Jr. tied the knot at the very same place they met four years ago — Coachella. The rockstar couple said their “I do’s” at The Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif. on April 19, just after Clark’s set at the music festival.

The pair were joined by their adorable one-year-old son Zion for the festivities, along with Trunfio’s fellow models Gemma Ward and Jessica Gomes, who acted as bridesmaids. Ward’s two-year-old daughter, Naia, served as flower girl.

The 30-year-old bride wore a plunging V-neck ballgown by Australian designer Steven Khahil for the ceremony. The exquisite dress featured a mikado full-skirted gown with hand appliquéd silver, pearl and crystal beadwork throughout the fitted bodice and skirt, and a 2.5 meter train with a scoop back and rolled collar back detail. The veil was a handmade with the tulle intricately embellished with Swarovski crystals and pearls and finished with a full French Lace border.

Khalil said in a statement that he couldn’t be happier to be her chosen couturier for the ceremony. “To work with such a wonderful and beautiful woman as Nicole on her special day was an honor.” He added, “She is breathtakingly elegant and we wish the couple all of the happiest of moments on their wedding day and for the future.”

Speaking to Brides.com, Nicole gushed over finding her dream dress. "I went through thousands of dresses, ideas, and custom designs to find something that was truly authentic to me and everything I dreamed about,” Nicole said. “As a model, I don’t usually get to choose the styles I wear on the day of a shoot, but on my wedding day I got to show off my style.”

Nicole’s five bridesmaids, including Ward and Gomes wore white gowns from Reformation with flower crowns.
