Though we're patiently awaiting Black Friday, there's also another big event that is going down on November 25th: the release of The Weeknd's new album, Starboy. To whet our appetites, the Canadian crooner released a short film on Wednesday titled "Mania"--a 12-minute visual directed by Grant Singer, who has collaborated with The Weeknd several times already.

Details from the singer's initial Starboy videos are incorporated to the shadowy club scene--like that unforgettable car--along with new songs from the upcoming album. A single black panther on a white pedestal opens the mini movie before the star begins his tune-filled drive. His initial stop is a disco-inspired setting brimming with dancers.

The visual then takes a wild turn, as a dance floor moment with supermodel Anais Mali is rattled by an attempted murder. Shockingly, the scenery is then bloodied, with the intense sounds of new song "Party Monster" exploding in the background. The pedestal from "Mania's" opening scene then returns, along with The Weeknd and the supermodel covered in blood--with recently released tune "I Feel It Coming" wafting through. The film isn't for the squeamish, but it is indeed visually stunning.
