What to Wear This Spring Once You've Mastered White Jeans

By Liza Corsillo.

White jeans are known for spring and summer because the light color keeps you cool when the sun is hot (whereas darker colors absorb heat). But they're just as stylish on a snow day as on vacation in Tulum—the old school rules of when you can wear them no longer apply. This spring, though, we're calling on you to expand your white bottoms wardrobe by picking up a pair of crisp white or ivory pants. Whether they come in slim chino form or are cut like a painter's pant, the clean layer adds polish to any look when it's anchoring everything from a blazer to your go-to flannel. So take notes from today's street style star and GQ editor, Jon Tietz, and grab a pair with a flat front and a worker vibe. While you wait for more tropical days, you can warm them up with a wool overcoat and red beanie.
