Los Angeles’ food scene has evolved beyond tacos and avocado toast, so it’s no surprise the city has an eclectic offering of Thanksgiving dishes around town.
A crew from BuzzFeed sampled turkey and trimmings-flavored ice creams, sandwiches and other offerings from the city’s hottest restaurants.
From turducken burgers and hot dogs to ice cream flavored with sweet potato, turkey fat and turkey skin, these hungry taste-testers judged their meals based on creativity, “holiday vibe” and the “wild factor.” What they discovered along the way is just how many unique ways traditional holiday dishes can be transformed.
