If you worship at the altar of Marilyn Monroe, you just might be able to add two locks of her hair to your shrine, provided that you pony up enough dough at the auction. Yes, you're reading that right--Marilyn Monroe's actual hair is being auctioned off, and the presale estimate is currently priced between $6,000 and $8,000. The hair comes from the estate of Frieda Hull, who was a friend and fan of the star's. Before Monroe's death in 1962, Hull asked the actress' hairstylist for the strands, and once she got approval from Marilyn herself, they have been in Hull's possession (in an ultraviolet-protected case, naturally) ever since. We're sure the auction votes will be telling of whether or not gentlemen really do prefer blondes.

If bidding on Marilyn's strands (which we're assuming the winner would probably keep under their pillow every night) isn't your steeze, you can always try and score one of her iconic wardrobe pieces.
