Every woman has danced the skinny jean tango: pulling on a pair of jeans you insist on wearing but just won’t button, so you try to wriggle your way into them and suck in your stomach in the hopes of creating some more room.

However, it’s not only women who do this dance. Apparently, toddlers have to do it every now and then too. A mom with amazing comedic timing caught her son on video trying to squeeze into a pair of jeans that he outgrew, and it turned into a video every woman — and men too! — can relate to.

Alyssa Price uploaded the video to Facebook, where it’s been shared by multiple outlets and viewed more than 20 million times. And it’s easy to see why — it’s hilarious. Adorable blond baby Ryan Price is caught trying to button a pair of dark blue, super stylish skinny jeans as his mom asks, “Can you button ’em? Are they a little too snug?”

Ryan is without a shirt, his adorable baby belly refusing to squish into the pants, as he groans and struggles to get them closed. Alyssa tells him he has to do the “skinny jeans dance.” She instructs him to “suck it in,” and he amazingly imitates what we imagine his mom is demonstrating behind the camera, sucking in his baby fat with a big grin on his face — yeah, it’s all fun and games until you’re 30 and crying surrounded by cookie crumbs.

Ryan continues to try to suck it in, to his mom’s amusement, but doesn’t seem to get what the sucking in is for, as he forgets to try to button the pants while he’s sucking in. “Get ’em buttoned! Wiggle, wiggle,” his mom reminds him. One more tug and groan … and he gives up. “Oh man, I don’t think it’s gonna happen either,” Alyssa concludes.

Everyone’s been there — the only difference is he’s a supercute baby who can shrug it off, while for so many others the reaction is curling up into the fetal position mourning the loss of a favorite pair of jeans and slipping on leggings instead.
