TVB to pay for Philip Ng's medical expenses
6 Dec - Tung Wah Charity Show producer Ho Siu Wai revealed recently that TVB will be compensating Philip Ng for the injury he sustained during rehearsal for the show.
As reported on Oriental Daily, Philip recently fractured his right hand while rehearsing an act of chopping a block of ice with fellow actor Timmy Hung, which they were scheduled to perform during the show.
Speaking to the media after the incident, Ho stated that she has already spoken to Philip's manager on the phone and shared that the company will pay for all of the actor's medical expenses.
"We will also have to find another artiste to replace him. It's a pity that he will not be able to star in the show," she said.
Philip will also have to take a break from his hectic schedule to let his injury heal.
