When you get married, all eyes are normally on you. But not when you get married at one of President Donald Trump’s clubs and the commander-in-chief shows up. Town & Country spoke to two different brides who recently had Trump drop in on their big days, and it turns out when he shows up, it’s pandemonium.

Kristen and Tucker Gladhill had their wedding at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and booked the space long before Trump’s inauguration. But this past weekend, during their wedding, the president showed up to say hi - and the bride almost missed it because she was in the bathroom. “When I heard the whole audience roaring, I knew it was happening,” Kristen said. Trump was having dinner upstairs, and popped in for a few minutes to take pictures with the bride and groom in the library.

Another couple, Vanessa and Carl Lindner, actually invited the president to their wedding at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, since Vanessa’s family have been members of the club for years. Trump RSVPed saying he’d try to stop by and he did, even bringing along Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for a photo op. He even gave a speech later in the night, noting that the bride’s family “paid me a fortune” as club members.

Both couples had to deal with increased security because of Trump’s presence. In New Jersey, Secret Service was on the property, and in Florida, the couple had to change a lot of their plans to deal with increased security. But it seems like both wedding had guests who were fully on board with Trump. The Gladhills’ wedding had guests shouting “USA!” and the Lindners had guests climbing on chairs “and it turned into wild animals and everyone going nuts.”
