Pigs in a blanket are a classic appetizer for any summer gathering. Now Trader Joe’s–famous for their delicious yet affordable fresh and frozen foods—is introducing their own version of the tasty treat. They’re called Puff Dogs, and they’re the latest addition to the company’s existing hot dog options, which include beef hot dogs, chicken hot dogs, and turkey corn dogs.

Made with uncured beef hotdogs, Puff Dogs are wrapped in a flaky puff pastry casing and are ready to devour in less than 30 minutes, according to the company’s website. Just pop them in the oven at 400°F and watch as the puff pastry turns deliciously golden brown, and separates into endless flaky layers. Unlike more traditional pigs in a blanket, which can be eaten in one bite, these dogs are larger because they’re made with the full hot dog. Each 5.7-ounce box comes with five Puff Dogs for $6.49.

While you’re picking up your new favorite frozen find, don’t forget that you’ll need a good dipping sauce to pair them with. Trader Joe’s suggests their Aioli Garlic Mustard or Organic Sriracha Ranch dressing, but we’re sure these would also be tasty paired with traditional ketchup or mustard. Alternatively, try making one from scratch while the dogs are in the oven. We love this Creamy Parmesan Dipping Sauce, or our classic Honey Mustard.
