Tony Leung too busy to celebrate wife's birthday

7 Dec - Although he hasn't been around since he started filming new movie "See You Tomorrow" and "Europe Raiders", Tony Leung revealed that he will still be too busy to celebrate wife Carina Lau's birthday on 8 December.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, who returned to Hong Kong from Shanghai to promote the Wong Kar Wai movie, revealed that he will soon be flying off to Beijing to begin filming his new movie, "Monster Hunt 2".

"When two people have to work, there is no time to celebrate. It's already too late to prepare a gift anyway, so I will just give her a belated present later," he said.

When asked if he would hide Carina's present so that she could look for it like he would often do, the actor laughed and responded, "There is no surprise gift. I have been too busy working every day to do anything else. I may also be working on Christmas Day."

Tony, however, made no comments regarding his role in the upcoming sequel to Raman Hui's hit 2015 movie.
