This Promposal Is as Epic as a Marriage Proposal

Kids these days have a lot of time on their hands. Or at least this epic promposal caught on camera is making us think so.
The video, posted to the Shade Room’s Instagram page, shows an excited-looking young girl wearing a paper crown and walking down a makeshift red carpet as people hold up signs with sweet nothings written on them, handing her roses along the way. At the end of the carpet, a boy emerges from behind a huge paper panel with a question mark on it as a banner reading “PROM” falls from the balcony above — along with lots of balloons and confetti.
It’s all very heartwarming. And also quite impressive that someone put so much effort into something that could have been done without the fanfare. Ah, the things we do for love.
This gesture is going to be hard for this guy to top. Let’s hope he puts this same effort into actually proposing to someone one day — or, at the very least, into doing his homework.
