Waffle Iron Hacks Prove It's the Best Kitchen Appliance Ever

I love waffles almost as much as Leslie Knope; I try to eat them at least once every week. Recently though, I’ve been branching out with what I cook in my waffle iron.

Then, I discovered that my waffle iron is literally the greatest kitchen appliance of all time—you can make anything and everything in this thing and it takes no time. Here are 5 pretty awesome waffle iron hacks that are going to make you wish you had a waffle maker in your dorm room right now.

Waffle Pizza

Prep Time: 1 minute
Cook Time: 5-7 minutes
Total Time: 6-8 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
3-oz. pizza dough
1 cup tomato sauce
3-oz. burrata

Directions:
1. Cook pizza dough in waffle iron for 5-7 minutes.
2. Remove from waffle iron and top with tomato sauce and cheese.

Waffle Cookies

Prep Time: 1 minute
Cook Time: 3-5 minutes
Total Time: 4-6 minutes

Servings: 5

Ingredients:
1 package pre-made cookie dough
1 glass of milk

Directions:
1. Cook cookie dough in waffle iron for 3-5 minutes.
2. Remove from waffle iron and enjoy with a glass of cold milk.

Waffle Cinnabons

Total Time: 4-6 minutes

Ingredients:
1 package cinnabons

Directions:
1. Cook cinnabon dough in waffle iron for 3-5 minutes.
2. Remove from waffle iron and drizzle frosting on top.

Waffle Donuts

Ingredients:
2 donuts
Rainbow sprinkles

Directions:
1. Cook donuts in waffle iron for 2 minutes.
2. Remove from waffle iron and add sprinkles.

Waffle Brownies

1 box brownie mix
Powdered sugar

Directions:
1. Cook brownie batter in waffle iron for 3-5 minutes.
2. Remove from waffle iron and top with powdered sugar.
