If nothing else, the early 21st century will be known for the rise of the selfie. Popularized by teenage girls, vilified by society at large—despite the fact that old white men have been painting self-portraits of themselves since humanity figured out “art”—and of course, monetized to the n-th degree by one Kim Kardashian West, our collective narcissism will come to define us.

In this month’s issue of Interview magazine, stylist Karl Templer and photographer Mikael Jansson, come together to bring us the aptly titled “Selfie,” which features model Saskia de Brauw, wearing a variety of the hottest fall looks by everyone from Alexander Wang to J.W.Anderson, while casually –and enigmatically – lounging in the woods, recording her every mood with multiple iPhones attached to her body with some custom Zana Bayne tech accessories.

Bayne’s known as the queen of leather in fashion circles. She’s whipped up custom leather creations for women like Madonna, Marina Abramovic, and Rei Kawakubo, not to mention Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. For Interview, she’s created impossibly chic belt and neckpieces that fall somewhere between art and technology. For the modern woman on the go, trying to juggle getting to the train on time and carrying an iced coffee, nothing says glamour like multiple selfie sticks affixed to your body. Who says we can’t have it all?
