The Internet Is on #TeamJen Amid Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Divorce

When Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie back in 2004, social media’s pervasiveness was still just a Silicon Valley pipe dream. So for individuals invested in the relationship, they voiced their support for “Team Aniston” or “Team Jolie” using T-shirts. But now as Pitt and Jolie are over, Kitson is closed and hashtags exist. So when love dies, people take to the Internet to express their opinions — and it appears that everyone is on #TeamJen.

Despite the fact that the Friends actress probably plays no part in Pitt and Jolie’s divorce (not only is Aniston recently married to Justin Theroux, but TMZ cites “irreconcilable differences” and noted that “Angelina’s decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children … she was extremely upset with his methods”), the 47-year-old is the center of the conversation on the Internet.
