The world can’t get enough of Taylor Swift—which is good, because she seems keen to keep on giving. Interviews, that is.

The country-turned-pop star, who’s already appeared on approximately 1,000 magazine covers this calendar year, can now be found on Elle’s June issue. Sporting a sexy sequined Dior jumpsuit, her trusty gee-tar, and some red patent booties that don’t quite match, the glossy’s declared Swifty a “National Treasure.”

Naturally, Elle chose another national treasure—Tavi Gevinson, who’s been known to paddleboard outside Swift’s Rhode Island mansion—to interview her.

Though Elle has so far only posted a portion of Gevinson’s story, there are already at least four points of interest that we feel you should know before heading to happy hour.

1) Taylor Swift is 100% over Harry Styles and really hopes he’s doing well. Really.

Ok, so Tay-Tay doesn’t explicitly say “I’m over Harry Styles.” But she does talk about an ex who lives in London. Harry Styles lives in London. Think, people. She also penned her song “Clean” while she was walking, maybe?

Says Swift, “’Clean’ I wrote as I was walking out of Liberty in London. Someone I used to date—it hit me that I’d been in the same city as him for two weeks and I hadn’t thought about it. When it did hit me, it was like, ‘Oh, I hope he’s doing well.’ And nothing else.”

2) This is what (definitely) Harry Styles texts you in the morning when you’re dating him:

“Hello, beautiful. Good morning.” Siiiiigh…

3) Swift’s old songs sound like they’re about fairy tales because they literally are.

(Full disclosure: I still start crying every time “Love Story” comes on the radio.)

Quoth Swift, “I’d never been in a relationship when I wrote my first couple of albums, so these were all projections of what I thought they might be like. They were based on movies and books and songs and literature that tell us that a relationship is the most magical thing that can ever happen to you.”

4) One of her most romantic songs, “You Are in Love,” is actually about Lena Dunham and her BF Jack Antonoff.

“I’ve never had that [kind of relationship], so I wrote that song about things that Lena [Dunham] has told me about her and Jack [Antonoff]. That’s just basically stuff she’s told me. And I think that that kind of relationship—God, it sounds like it would just be so beautiful—would also be hard. It would also be mundane at times.”

Keep hanging in there, Tay! LYLAS. Pick up Elle’s June issue for mo’a.
