Taylor Swift is the Most Surprise-able Human Ever
Taylor Swift wins a lot of awards. And yet, no one is ever more surprised than Taylor Swift to win an award. The country-turned-popstar took home the iHeartRadio award for Best Lyrics on Sunday night for her hit single “Blank Space” off her record 1989, and her face looked more surprised than yours would if Swift herself rang your doorbell and delivered a pizza.
The 25-year-old singer has, in fact, been nominated for 146 awards, and won 89 of them. She does a lot of things that are infinitely more surprising than winning an award: matching alleged-boyfriend Calvin Harris at the grocery store, covering Vogue with bff Karlie Kloss, taking road trips with Haim and her dad. The thing about this particular surprise face is that she was basically making fun of herself. She and Justin Timberlake allegedly planned to freak out regardless of who won, and they pretended to be overly-excited that Timberlake had won—even though he hadn’t. Confusing? Kind of. But when Swift decides to embark upon an acting career, this should serve as one convincing audition tape.
