Tales Along the Way Offers a Wide-Eyed Travel Perspective

Anne Bell is not a travel professional, and it wasn’t in any professional capacity that she recently spent four months in India, where her architecture-professor husband was teaching. This is what makes Tales Along the Way, her take on life in India and elsewhere refreshing: She’s very much a regular person, seeing things as most Americans would, not jaded by years on the road.

Given that, her observations are both wide-eyed and informative. She discusses what it’s like to, for example, have your hair cut in India, and why there are buckets in Indian showers. She’s back in the U.S. now, but her obsession with India continues (as does her blog’s emphasis on India), and we wouldn’t be surprised if she returns someday soon.
