    Margaret Cho Permanently Joins ‘Fashion Police’

    Fashion Police is adding a new face to its panel: Margaret Cho. The comedienne will join Melissa Rivers, Guiliana Rancic, and Brad Goreski as the show’s new co-host for next year’s upcoming awards season. The E! franchise will kick off the upcoming awards seasons with coverage of the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards, taking place Jan. 10, and continue through the entire award seasons with the SAG Awards, Grammys and Oscars.

    Peeple Is Basically a Digital Version of Regina George’s Burn Book

    For unregistered users who can’t raise issue with unfavorable assessments, profiles only reveal glowing feedback.  The app, which is currently in beta and only available for iPhone users, was created by Julia Cordray and Nicole McCullough with plans to launch widely in November. “People do so much research when they buy a car or make those kinds of decisions,” Cordray told the Washinton Post. It’s an interesting political climate to release a tool promoting appraisal of individuals.

    E! Puts “Fashion Police” on Hiatus; Execs Explain New Road Map

    This story first appeared in the March 27 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. On March 12, E! Entertainment general manager Adam Stotskygathered staff in the lobby of the network’s Los Angeles offices to toast its new scripted series, The Royals. Kathy Griffin, who had replaced the late Joan Rivers as the grande dame of Fashion Police, had just announced via Twitter that she was following former panelist Kelly Osbourne’s lead and quitting the show after seven episodes.
