Nev Schulman, the creator of MTV's "Catfish," and Laura Perlongo tied the knot last weekend, with Perlongo wearing two bridal bathing suits during the laid-back reception. But she's not the only one to wear a bridal swimsuit.
InStyle reports that the beaded column gown that Rachel Lindsay wore wasn't just a stunning fashion statement, it weighed 30 pounds. Naturally, Lindsay's version is a couture creation, but designer Randi Rahm told the magazine that a more affordable, lighter-weight version is already in the works for members of Bachelor Nation. "Rachel picked this look from hundred of dresses," Rahm told InStyle.
Blake E. gets a pass here because his shirt is so uninteresting I literally can’t even think of anything to say about it. Speaking of Blakes, I am highly into Blake K.’s chartreuse situation, and also the fact that he’s a Marine vet and said that he would like to be The Rock for a day “because he's the only person who could look cool wearing a fanny pack.” Blake K., I am willing to bet that you too could pull off a fanny pack, m’dear.
Maybe blondes do have more fun! Katy Perry was the life of the party on Sunday evening as celebs hit the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Speaking of embracing themselves, curvy model Hunter McGrady, who recently rocked a painted-on bathing suit in Sports Illustrated, proudly bared it all on the iHeart red carpet in an edgy ensemble by Chromat, Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant, and Fashion to Figure. The blond stunner, who has several big shoots planned, told Yahoo Style that she is thrilled to be a part of the current body diversity movement.
There are few events that call to mind as many clichés as bachelor and bachelorette parties — the strip clubs, phallic-shaped decor, dancing on the bars...
Shawn Booth’s workout playlist must have had Beyoncé on it—and he must have heeded her advice—because on Monday night’s finale of The Bachelorette’s 11th season, the personal trainer decided he liked it so much, he put a ring on it. “Shawn was very self-assured and there was no doubt in his mind about what he was about to do,” celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who helped both contestants choose rings, told People. “He was not nervous at all and was like, ‘That’s the ring, that’s the girl and we are moving on together.’” And while Bristowe, 30, looked beautiful in her tailored-to-fit blush pink Mac Duggal gown, Bachelorette Nation is gawking over the 3.5-carat Neil Lane ring. On Tuesday morning, headlines claimed that Bristowe’s ring, though not the biggest in the show’s history, was the most expensive ring that any Bachelor or Bachelorette had ever received.
Kaitlyn Bristowe waiting at the final rose ceremony in a Mac Duggal dress. Lucky for The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe, she’s found a friend in the show’s stylist, Cary Fetman, who helped her find the perfect gown for the much-anticipated final rose ceremony (that will air on July 27 at 8 pm ET on ABC). “I would say that Kaitlyn, during the first two days of the fitting, tried on 75 to 90 gowns.” So how on Earth did she come to choose the one she’d wear on the night she just might commit to her life partner? Kaitlyn Bristowe: It was one of the first dresses I tried on before the season even started, when I was trying to find my night one gown.
The Bachelorette, which, this season, stars 30-year-old Kaitlyn Bristowe, is a show about one woman’s search for true love under very abnormal conditions — conditions like constant cameras, exotic vacations, sumo wrestling, awkward rap battles, and some very creative editing.
