This Selena Gomez look-alike has us seeing double
The concept of doppelgängers is incredibly amusing. And while she’s already had a few pop up during her time in the spotlight, the ultimate Selena Gomez lookalike was found on Instagram. The similarities are almost uncanny.
Her name is Sofia Solares, and she’s got quite a following on the social media site. And on every photo she posts, she gets inundated with comments about how she looks exactly like the singer. (Also tagged a lot in her comments? Justin Bieber. Huh. Perhaps they’re hoping Bieber might reach out to the lookalike and ask for a date?)
Of course, as far as doppelgängers are concerned, you’ve got to see it to believe it. So here’s a photo of Selena Gomez.

Solares, a 22-year-old from Mexico, had a chance to chat with E! News to talk a little bit more about the similarities. No surprise, but it turns out she’s a pretty big fan of Gomez.
“I love Selena Gomez and I declare myself a fan of her and of course it would be a dream to know that she knows of my existence and will devote a few seconds to write me something!” Solares said, translated, to the publication. “I would cry with happiness.”
