While Kanye West downsized from Madison Square Garden and Roosevelt Island to a humble Pier 59 Studios for Yeezy Season 5 during fashion week this season, other designers like Rihanna, Alexander Wang, and Tommy Hilfiger went bigger than ever before. (Go big or go home, right?) In New York, Wang brought editors up to 146th street to an abandoned theater in Harlem. Meanwhile, Phillip Plein touched down at the New York Public Library for a show that was far from quiet, complete with appearances from Kylie Jenner, Madonna, and Paris Hilton. Over in Paris–the city, that is–Rihanna also hosted her Fenty x Puma show at the National Library, filling the room with rented books, which models proceeded to rip the pages out of and throw from the shelves. The theme, in true bad girl form, was detention. In a more bourgeoisie act, Louis Vuitton somehow convinced the Louvre museum to open its doors for the first time ever, as it welcomed guests like Michelle Williams, Jaden Smith, and Justin Theroux. Take a closer look inside the most stunning fashion week locations, here.
