Queen Elizabeth's official 90th birthday celebrations kicked off on Friday but, while the day was all about the monarch, the stunning royal fashions on display also took center stage!

Princess Kate, who arrived with Prince William and Prince Harry, wore a bespoke mist blue Catherine Walker & Co crepe coatdress adorned with white lace detail. She paired the look with a flower-covered bespoke Jane Taylor cocktail hat. (The same topper she wore to Princess Charlotte's christening last year!)

Kate's mother-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also opted for blue, wearing a light blue silk outfit by Bruce Oldfield with a coordinating Philip Treacy hat. She accessorized with a pearl necklace and a dragonfly brooch.

Meanwhile, the woman of the hour wore a primrose yellow Angela Kelly outfit topped off with the Richmond Brooch, which was given as a wedding gift to her grandmother, Queen Mary, in 1893. (And of course, she had her ever-present black Launer purse.)

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie made a stylish appearance when they arrived at the church alongside their dad Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Eugenie wore a figure-flattering red dress from Eponine London, a label that Kate has worn in the past, and accessorized with a Sarah Cant Couture Millinery bespoke sinamay headband and clutch and patent leather black heels.

Beatrice made a sartorial statement in a skeleton-inspired Burberry coat, which she accessorized with a demure (but matching!) off-the-rack sinamay hat by Sarah Cant Couture Millinery (which is currently on sale for $413).

The Queen's only daughter, Anne, Princess Royal, wore a beige patterned coat paired with a light beige sheath. Anne arrived alongside her sister-in-law – Sophie, Countess of Wessex – who got the blue memo from Kate and Camilla and wore an icy coat dress by Suzannah with a bespoke percher hat by Jane Taylor, which featured hand-died straw with crin and quills. Meanwhile, Sophie's daughter, 12-year-old Lady Louise Windsor, wore a bright pink coat over a white floral dress. She also got in on the hat fun with a small white topper.

Another of the Queen's granddaughters, Zara Tindall, went for a dark look in a navy blue dress by Erdem which she coordinated with her grey-blue hat featuring black details. She matched the dark details in her hat to her sky-high navy suede pumps.

However, the most surprising fashion moment belonged to Lady Amelia Windsor, 20 – the granddaughter of the Queen's cousin, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent – who arrived at the church in head-to-toe Chanel. Royal style star in the making!
