Rihanna Wears the New Dior Before the Models Do
Here’s how you know Rihanna is the Queen of Paris:
She gets to wear Dior that hasn’t even hit the runway yet.
Friday morning at the Rodin Museum, the pop star made a stealth entrance via service ramp. When street style photographers and paparazzi finally caught a glimpse of the pop star, she briefly posed in a black double-breasted coat, black boots, a black leather beret, and two stacked chokers—one gold, one velvet.
Little did we know she was actually sporting Look 50 from the catwalk… a full 30 minutes before the Dior show even began.
The black leather beret was by hat master Stephen Jones. The suede over-the-knee boots won’t hit stores until sometime this summer. And the chokers twinned with model-of-the-moment Adwoa Aboah, who—fun fact—also starred in RiRi’s Paris runway show last Fall.
Mere mortals can’t get Rihanna’s Dior ensemble yet, but we’ve got a shot at her shades… they’re available in select Dior boutiques for around $650.
