This Rihanna Superfan's Over-the-Top Meme Costume Got Her Invited Backstage at a Concert

Rhenna meets Rihanna, and it's perfect.

It takes a whole lot of effort to get to meet Rihanna. For one concert-goer, it specifically took a light-up mask and a spot-on rendition of a gown to get her invited backstage - but it was totally worth it.

Superfan Emily Graily rocked a version of Rihanna's Giambattista Valli 2015 Grammys dress to a concert Saturday night in Hartford, Connecticut. She also wore a light-up mask of Rhenna, the stick-figure version of Rihanna that the singer occasionally posts on her Instagram (and is currently Rihanna's Instagram profile picture, even).

Here's Rhenna:

And here's the mask:

Graily, who is a costume design major at UC Santa Cruz, told MTV News that she was inspired to rock the outfit after showing up at a Lady Gaga concert and noticing that everyone was wearing costumes. She then decided to dress up for concerts and showed up at Saturday night's show in her finest creation yet - yes, she made her pink dress and mask herself. Rihanna saw it online during a pre-show party. And then she followed Graily on Instagram.

During the concert, Graily rocked the hat - and she says that Rihanna pointed her out and winked. At the end of the show, Rihanna told her she loved the outfit.

And that wasn't it. Graily got invited backstage and got to meet Rihanna herself. Shenanigans ensued, naturally.

Rihanna even posted the photo herself, as the ultimate endorsement:
