Remember that wedding dress made from Taco Bell wrappers? They took a flamethrower to it.

You can either lose gracefully, or lose with a flamethrower.

Taco Bell, the romantic "Mexican" fast food chain, held a contest this spring looking for hungry couples that were willing and eager to be married in the "restaurant's" new Las Vegas chapel.

One of those contestants, Diane Nguyen, gained some steam with her entry due to the beautiful construction of a delicate wedding dress crafted from nothing but Taco Bell burrito wrappers.

Ya know, this one:

Well, the lovers' cries fell on deaf ears at Taco Bell—the fast food chain went and married another couple

But that didn't stop Nguyen from accepting her fate with the help of some cleansing, eternal fire.

On Monday, she posted a video to her YouTube channel of the unfortunately unwedded dress falling victim to the devastating power of a flamethrower.

The video ends on the sad, doleful message: "Save the date: ??/??/????"

Maybe another fast food chain will hold another wedding contest? Maybe they can just go to the Vegas chapel and hold their wedding there? Maybe they can just slink off anonymously to a justice of the peace and have a very small service held with the requisite two witnesses?

Whatever the answer to their marital woes, they've taught us all a lesson: If you have to lose, lose with a flamethrower.
