What Rapper Flo Rida's Puts In His Mac & Cheese Might Upset You

From Delish

Even if you don't listen to top-40s music, you've heard of Flo Rida. The rapper churns out hits that are just as likely to be played in Miami's hottest clubs as they are your Mom's step aerobics class. In fact, you could ask a random elementary schooler what comes after "shawty had those Apple Bottom jeans," and there's a strong chance he or she will immediately reply, "boots with the fur," even though that song ("Low") came out before said child was even born.

Flo's reach is undeniable, and he churns out hits at such a rapid clip-21 songs have made the Billboard Hot 100 in the past 8 years alone-that we had to know: What fuels him throughout the day? Prepare to be surprised.

1. He's All About Breakfast.

Flo loves all kinds of breakfast food, he says, but he's partial to starting the day with an egg white omelette.

When he recently appeared in Hell's Kitchen, the rapper went a little more indulgent with his brunch-y fare: His table ordered steak and eggs and chicken and waffles. Breakfast all day, every day? We can get on board with that.

2. He Has His Own Pre-Workout Drink.

Flo Rida, AKA Tramar Lacel Dillard, is so into working out that he's launched his own 8-week fitness program-Flo Fit-and worked with energy drink company Celsius to create Flo Fusion, his own line of pre-workout powders.

He has one before every gym session, stirring a scoop into a glass of water. The powder, sold in orange and berry flavors, claims to help provide a boost of energy and burn 100 calories after drinking it.

3. He Takes His Sauces on the Side.

Flo grew up eating at TGI Friday's, he says, so when his team started brainstorming ideas for his latest video, "Hello Friday," filming a segment there seemed like a no-brainer. Naturally, we had to know what he orders when he's there.

Just because he's eating out doesn't mean his diet goes out the window-even for a music video shoot. Flo often orders mild chicken wings with hot sauce on the side, and grilled chicken breast with vegetables-with a little Jack Daniel's sauce in a dipping cup.

4. He Sticks to Lean Protein.

Flo Rida tends to eat a lot of grilled chicken. Another favorite? Grilled chicken Caesar salads.

5. He Puts What on Noodles?!

When asked what's one crazy food combination people need to try, he offered one surprising take on Mac & Cheese: Cheetos and noodles.

"Use the Cheetos for the cheese," he wrote via email.

If you think of boxed mac, which often involves adding a bright orange cheese powder to freshly cooked pasta, his tactic totally makes sense.

Flo, we heard you were a wild one (sorry, had to), but this is some next-level ish.
