Prince William was too shy to dance at his own wedding to Kate Middleton, but he made up for lost time Sunday night by hitting a club and busting some serious moves on the dance floor.

The prince took a ski vacation to Verbier, Switzerland, with a group of guy friends, including Guy Pelly, godfather to William’s 3-year-old son, Prince George, and the newly divorced Tom van Straubenzee, godfather to William’s 1-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte.

In the evening, William hit a nightclub at Hotel Farinet and this happened:

TMZ, which obtained the now viral video, described the scene: “Wills raised the roof like he was straight outta Buckingham, or just the ’90s, during a ski trip to Verbier, Switzerland, with some buddies. Kate can rest easy — her Prince was thot-free while starting a personal dance revolution … around 10:30 PM.”

In a series of what Twitter is calling “dad moves,” William, 34, proceeds to “raise the roof” while dancing solo in the half-empty club to the song “I Got 5 on It” by rap duo Luniz and then later to electronic music.

That same day, the prince was seen drinking beer with his friends and 24-year-old Australian model Sophie Taylor, who joined the group that night at the club.

The video doesn’t bode well for William, who was already under scrutiny for skipping an important work event to hit the slopes. The Commonwealth Day service, which celebrates peace and democracy between 52 countries, took place on Monday, and everyone from William’s grandmother the queen to his brother, Prince Harry, attended. What’s more, in the past, he’s been labeled “work shy” for playing more than he works.

Kate Middleton didn’t attend the ceremony, and there’s no word on how she felt holding down the royal fort with two toddlers underfoot. But on Wednesday, William was back at work at the East Anglian Air Ambulance, where he serves as a helicopter pilot.

It’s unclear where William learned his new dance moves, but in 2016 he attempted to bodypop while visiting a youth charity center in London. After confessing that he would “never get the shoulder shiver right,” he clarified that “there is no pressure, because I will look ridiculous.” Indeed, his teen tutor graded him a five out of 10, but gave him a 10 for effort.
