Pippa Middleton's Bridesmaid's Dress is on Sale

From Cosmopolitan

It's the dress that launched a million butt workouts - the white Alexander McQueen sheath worn by Pippa Middleton at her sister Kate's wedding to Prince William on April 29, 2011 - and now it can be yours for the discounted price of just $1539. That's 40 percent off the original price of $2565. A steal! Relatively.

OK, so it's not exactly the same as the dress Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton made for Pippa - the cap sleeves are shorter, there is no lace, and the cowl has been been replaced by two overlapping lapels - but it is McQueen and it certainly feels the same as Pippa's.

It's probably about as close a replica as you are ever likely to see from Burton or McQueen. After all, Burton probably had to sign a contract agreeing not to replicate Kate or Pippa's dresses in the future. And even if no such contract exists, Pippa's dress was couture - made by hand onto her body with the finest materials - so any true replica would also need to be couture and would probably cost as much as a mid-sized house.

The new dress doesn't have the covered buttons down the back like Pippa's does, but you could always add them if you really wanted to.

Even with all the changes, it's still a distinctly Pippa-at-Kate's-wedding sort of dress. What if you bought it and wore it to your own sister's wedding? Remember how people could not stop talking about Pippa that day and for weeks after? Even though it had been Kate's wedding, all the focus seemed to be on Pippa and her butt in that dress. That could be you! You could be the Pippa Middleton of your family! You've already got a butt. You just need this dress to put it into. Sure, your sister will probably hate you for it, but she'll get over it eventually. Besides, you two aren't really that close anyway. Come on. Do it. Be all the Pippa you can be!
