Pippa Middleton almost upstages bride in floor-length Erdem

Pippa Middleton has been busy enjoying her honeymoon with new husband James Matthews.

After the biggest wedding of the year, the couple jetted off to French Polynesia followed by an extravagant jaunt around Australia’s most famous cities.

Their last stop was Stockholm for a friend’s wedding. The pair were spotted attending the glamorous nuptials of Jon Bartholdson and Anna Ridderstad yesterday.

Pippa donned a floaty long-sleeved gown by Erdem. Costing almost £3000, the printed floral design was pretty bohemian in its design.

The Duchess of Cambridge‘s sister was accused of trying to upstage the bride by choosing a floor-length style. Knee-length dresses are the usual look for a wedding.

The 33-year-old didn’t seem to care as she was photographed laughing and joking with her husband.

To finish off her wedding outfit, Pippa kept her hair down and accessorised with a vintage-style velvet clutch bag.

This isn’t the first time Pippa has garnered attention at a wedding. Her figure-hugging bridesmaid dress worn to sister Kate’s wedding to Prince William received just as much – if not more – attention than the bride’s gown.

Plenty of important people from Sweden also attended yesterday’s big society wedding including H&M CEO Karl-Johan Persson.

After the ceremony, guests were whisked off by steamboat to a private villa for the evening celebrations.
