Philip Ng injures hand while rehearsing for Tung Wah
6 Dec - Martial arts actor Philip Ng was revealed to have injured his right hand while rehearsing an act for the upcoming Tung Wah Charity Show.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor recently shared an X-ray photo of his fractured hand online, and joked that he is not made of iron.
"Pain is temporary, but it still hurts," he added.
Philip later revealed in an interview that he was rehearsing an act with Timmy Hung, which required both of them to chop a block of ice. However, rather than examining the part of the ice he should be hitting with his hands, Philip proceeded to do so improperly, resulting in the fracture.
His manager revealed that Philip will have to halt his schedule for the time being until his hand is fully recovered.
"The doctor says that he was lucky that his bone did not protrude," said the manager.
