PETA's Pissed at North West

North West’s mom might be walking around naked in New York (or almost), but North won’t stand for such silliness. The savvy 2-year-old donned her finest fur for a night out on the town.
The youngest West tossed the fur coat—looks like fox—over an all-black ensemble. She finished the look with a pair of on-trend Doc Martens to battle the snowy sidewalks. Apparently North’s breaking the “all-black” phase Kimye revealed their daughter was going through earlier this year.

Even if North’s face expresses misery, she looks pretty damn cute. Of course, less than 24 hours after her appearance, Peta’s already pissed. “If the fur coat that she’s been dressed in is real, animals have suffered for vanity, something that we’re sure neither North nor any little girl her age would support,” says PETA’s UK Director Mimi Bekhechi.
But if anyone was going to suffer for vanity, it’d be Kim and Kanye’s kid. What other little one has sported sheer looks, Timberland boots, or head-to-toe leather at her age? There was the Saint Laurent purse, custom Givenchy and Balmain, a Vogue photo shoot, and front row appearances at fashion week. Sorry Peta, we’re on Kim’s side this time around.
