In case you missed it, Debbie Rowe, the former wife of pop legend Michael Jackson and mother to Paris and Prince, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Paris posted a message celebrating her mom’s last chemo session yesterday, and it’s seriously making us tear up.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight from October 2016, Rowe opened up about how Paris has been her rock since her July 2016 diagnosis.

“She’s my rock, she’s amazing. She’s been with me the whole time. She was there. First phone call, [it] took her 30 seconds [to reach out] when she found out,” she said.

She noted that the pair reconnected in the past several years (they apparently did not see too much of each other before Michael Jackson’s death), and now their relationship is “awesome.” “I can’t tell you how much I love her,” she said. “We go for sushi, we talk about music, and we text all the time.”

And now, Paris has posted this super inspirational message.

We’re so incredibly glad that Rowe has Paris to help her through what must be such a difficult time. As she told ET, “you have to work very hard to get up every morning and do this,” while also noting that Paris gives her a “reason” to get up and do it everyday.

We’re sending so very much love and support their way right now. And we’re feeling inspired to reach out to our loved ones and give them an extra squeeze today.
