Paris Jackson may have amassed quite a sizable selection of ink (we've lost count, but we do know she got her 23rd design last July and hasn't slowed down since), but every single tattoo has a special meaning for her. She's said before that her appreciation for body art has a lot to do with its underlying message. “[I] can look at my inner forearms and see art that has meaning for me,” she once revealed in an [Instagram post](http://www.teenvogue.com/story/paris-jackson-tattoos-meanings). “[I] see ink as a way of changing for the better, always improving. they represent strength for me.”

When she unveiled her latest tat over the weekend, we figured it had to have a hidden meaning, especially in light of the caption. "with every step I take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. love you," she captioned the image, adding a green apple emoji at the end and tagging her tattoo artist, Justin Lewis.

The design featured a swirl of intricate script across the top of her foot, spelling out the word "Applehead." The moniker is actually Paris's own nickname; according to People, it came from Paris's late father, Michael Jackson — meaning her new ink is a touching tribute to her dad. This isn't the first time Paris has dedicated a design to the King of Pop, either, and her latest addition fits in perfectly with her other personal tattoos. Her first one also featured text, reading "Queen of My Heart" in Michael's handwriting. "To everyone else he was the King of Pop," she wrote. "To me, well, he was the king of my heart."
